Teen Book ClubFirst meeting: Tuesday February 12, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
After a long hiatus, our teen book club is back! The book club will meet the second Tuesday of each month and is open to all teens (ages 13 and up). New members are always welcome! At our first meeting we will discuss Elsewhere, by Gabrielle Zevin. Elsewhere is the story of fifteen-year-old Liz Hall. >After she is hit by a taxi and killed, she finds herself in a place that is both like and unlike Earth, where she must adjust to her new status and figure out how to "live." Reviewers praised Elsewhere as "A strikingly original answer to the eternal question: what happens when we die? . . . Zevin's poignant novel rewards readers with a view of death that celebrates the rich complexities of being alive" (Starred review, The Horn Book). Please join us!
