Teen Night: '80s Party

The next Teen Night will be Friday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Teen Advisory Board plans to put a different spin on the evening by hosting an 80's party. Come dressed as you favorite 80's star. Best dressed teen wins a prize! Challenge your video game skills and get your PacMan, Frogger, Donkey Kong and Asteroids fix. The big screen will be set up showing TV shows from the decade, too. Be there or be square!

Big Readers Book Club

The Big Readers book club will read The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation, Vol. 1 for their next meeting on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. This darkly fascinating work of historical fiction was the winner of several major book awards and has received praise from critics around the country. The story hits on a part of American History that you won't learn about in history class. Curious? Join us for discussion and food at the library.

Anime Club for Teens

Meets Mondays from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
The club will not meet April 9. After spring break, we will be screening Irresponsible Captain Tylor, the humorous story of a dim witted but lucky military officer and his misfit crew. Hope to see you there!

Anime Club for Teens

Don't forget about our new Anime Club with Erik Burch which meets every Monday that school is in session at 4:30 p.m. Erik will be showing an anime series called Serial Experiments Lain. Please note that the Anime Club will not meet on Mondays when Ichabod Crane Schools are closed for holidays, vacations, and snow days.

Big Readers Book Club

Looking for a few good books to read? Join the Big Readers book club! The club has selected London Calling by Edward Bloor to read for its March meeting. A work of historical fiction, the book has been described as an effective and compelling novel that will make readers think not only about the way we view our past but also about the way we understand our present. Copies of the book can be requested through the library. The club will meet on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30 pm.

T.A.B. Meeting

The next Teen Advisory Board meeting is Thursday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m. We'll be focusing on more teen programming at the library. Come with ideas and stay for the food!!! Hope to see you there!

Flashback Teen Night!

Friday, March 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The next Teen Night will be Friday, March 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Teen Advisory Board plans to put a different spin on the evening by hosting a 90’s party. Party like its 1999! Break out your best worn-out flannel shirt, enjoy those way cool video games of the 90’s and come listen to some grunge music. The big screen will be set up showing TV shows from the decade, too.
